Vancouverites love there brunch and Vancouver has definitely up their brunch game over the last few years. If your like us, we love having brunch with family and friends but often times it seems overwhelming choosing a spot with all of the options the city has to offer. Perhaps, you just don’t know where to start. Rest easy as we have compiled our top 5 favourite brunch spots that you have to try at least once.

NOOK – 1525 Yew St

Brunch is only available on the weekends and only at their Kitsilano location.

Our Recommendation: Baked Eggs paired with a Cappuccino

*Expert Tip – If you order avocado toast which is also delicious, always ask for a side of prosciutto.

33 ACRES – 15 West 8th Ave

Not just a beer joint!

Our Recommendation: Tomato Avocado Benedict on a home made biscuit (only on weekends!), but great Avocado Toast any day of the week.

*Expert Tip – Once you’re done, you should go next door to “33 Brewing Experiment” and grab a pint.

YOLKS – 1598 East Hastings & 546 Broadway

If you love Eggs Benny like we do, then YOLKS is a must.

Our Recommendation: Double smoked bacon with arugula and grated aged white cheddar.

*Expert Tip – Order a side of Truffle-Lemon Hashbrowns… you won’t be disappointed.

CHAMBAR RESTAURANT – 568 Beatty Street

Breakfast during the week (8AM – 11:30AM) and weekend brunches (8AM – 3PM).

Our Recommendation: Paella with either a lavender latte or a grapefruit mimosa. And we always like to start with one or two of their mini waffles and assorted toppings.

*Expert Tip – Book a reservation or you could be one of many in line for a table.

EDIBLE CANADA BISTRO (Granville Island Market) – 1596 Johnston Street

This is a new favourite since we all became parents. Open early (9AM on weekends), stroller friendly, high chairs available, crayons, and you can still have a mimosa with your brunch.

Our Recommendation: GI Breakfast Sandwich paired with a coconut milk latte.

*Expert Tip – 10% off next door (same day) at Edible Canada Marketplace if you show your receipt. NOBLE Bourbon Maple Syrup is one of our favourites from this spot.
