The spooky season is here, and the Cirque Costume Ball has us ready to break out our best costumes. Taking over Science World on Saturday, October 26, Vancouver’s longest-running licensed Halloween bash will welcome over 1,200 party-goers with live cirque performances, eerie decor, and top DJs and entertainers.

Stanley Park Ghost Train

The legendary Stanley Park Ghost Train returns this Halloween, running from October 10 to 31. Thrill-seekers can experience a spooky, theatrical ride in the evening, while younger guests can enjoy a family-friendly matinee, complete with festive displays but no live performers.

When: October 10 to 31, 2024 

Time: 6 to 10 pm. Matinee train from 2 to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays

Fright Nights at Playland 2024

Fright Nights, one of Western Canada’s scariest haunts, is back in Vancouver for its 21st anniversary! Running on select nights through to Halloween, this thrilling Playland attraction features eight haunted houses, over 20 adrenaline-pumping rides, spooky decor, roaming monsters, live performances, and more. Get ready for an unforgettable night of frights!

When: Select dates from October 4 until October 31, 2024

Time: 6 pm to 11 am on October 6, 13 and 20. Open until midnight on all other days.

Pumpkins After Dark

Pumpkins After Dark is an outdoor experience set to haunt Swangard Stadium and Central Park from October 3 to 31. Guests can expect to see over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins.

Canyon Frights at Capilano Suspension Bridge
